Haiti exports cholera in Fort-de-France

A 63 year old man from Port-au-Prince, Thursday night went to the emergency of the University Hospital of Fort-de-France in a state of dehydration. According to the Regional Health Agency (ARS), the analyzes confirmed that he was suffering from cholera and immediately placed in an isolation room where his condition is considered serious. ARS states that the clinical signs appeared several hours after getting off the plane and that contamination of other passengers on the flight is excluded.
