Marie Carmelle Jean Marie, Economic Adviser to the President ?

According to usually well informed sources, Marie Carmelle Jean Marie, former Minister of Economy and Finance, ould, after several discussions with President Michel Martelly and his wife Sophia, accepted the position of Adviser to the Economic and Financial Affairs of the Presidency.

Haiti, ready to receive tourists

Wednesday, Stéphanie Blamir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism answered to questions from a reporter from the Associated Press (AP) on the National Strategy for Tourism Development. To the question, if the country was ready to receive tourists, the Minister answered "If the country is now listed in the brochure of the major Canadian tour operator Transat, alongside other major tourist destinations, there is not a shadow of a doubt that the tourist potential of Haiti are now recognized and it is a proof that the destination is ready to receive tourists."

The oldest of Haiti died at the age of 115

Born in 1898, to John Rabel, Alcina Fénélus, he oldest of Haiti, died Wednesday at his home in Bon Repos, where she lived for nearly 30 years, at the age of 115 years.

Agreement on Social Peace in Bel Air
