421 girls trained in non-traditional trades

421 girls aged 17 to 21 have completed 6 months training in non-traditional trades, under the project Initiative of adolescent girls in Haiti. This program funded by the World Bank to the tune of 2 million U.S. dollars (total) aims to train young girls in various fields such as construction, plumbing, masonry, mechanical, driving heavy machinery, building construction, refrigeration, computers and electricity.

Excursion to Kay Piat
