Following the calls by the opposition to the resignation of President Martelly, Lucien Jura, the Spokesman of the Presidency, called to respect of the 5-year mandate of the Head of State, which is part of a democratic project.

27 Haitians intercepted at sea

Saturday, the Coast Guard of the Dominican Navy apprehended 27 illegal Haitian, who tried to go to Puerto Rico. Travelers have been intercepted at sea aboard a makeshift boat and handed over to the immigration authorities for appropriate action.
