Feminist organizations disapprove rejection by parliament of Article 9 of the draft electoral law, according to which at least one woman had ti sit in the BEC and BED in all cases. Assimilating this decision to a serious violation of the Constitution, these women's organizations, invite legislators to recover.

Ivorian trade delegation in Haiti

Sunday, following an initiative of Oswald Louéké, Honorary Consul of Haiti in Côte d'Ivoire, a large trade delegation composed of Heads of Ivorian companies, arrived in Haiti. Led by Nicolas Djibo, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d'Ivoire (CCI-CI), the delegation will meet among other employers' organizations under the auspices of the Economic Forum and the Government Martelly-Lamothe.

"L'Immigrante" by Antony Fortunat

The last work of Antony Fortunat, "L'Immigrante" was recently published by Editions Jets d'Encre (France). The book makes us discover the treacherous fate of a young undocumented immigrant in a large city in the United States... Antony Fortunat, was born in Fonds-des-Nègres, and worked in the Haitian government and taught for 25 years in lycée Toussaint-Louverture. He is currently in charge of the editorial segment of the community program "Haitian Perspectives" in Brooklyn, NY
