Thursday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, announced that his country once gain donated ,200 tons of rice this year to help Haiti solve the food crisis and to fight against the high cost of living. The rice will be delivered in three separate shipments at the end of this month through the program "U.S. Food for Peace" declared Florencia Hsieh, Deputy Director General of the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs of Taiwan. International Journalists visiting Haiti
The Ministry of Tourism and Delta Air Lines, welcome since Thursday 30 September, 2013, a group of journalists for an exploratory visit to Haiti. This visit should allow these media professionals to explore the tourism potential of Haiti. Journalists from some renowned international media including Univison, Fox, Washington Post are part of this mission. The delegation will visit the main sites of the circuit of package of Transat Haiti such as the National Historic Park and the Coast of Arcadins...
Strategic port development plans
Thursday morning a meeting was held to the General Directorate of National Port Authority (APN) on the strategic port development plans, in the presence of the Director General, Alix Célestin, Mrs Lenette Deller, the Commercial Director, M. Elien Roosvelt, Assistant Director of Operations, an Hoffman of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and Raymond Lafontant Jr. Consultant to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
A dozen articles of the Electoral Act amended by the Senate
According to the Senator, Andrice Riché, one of the commissioners of the Senatorial Commission to analyze the electoral law, a dozen articles of the electoral bill already passed by the House, have been modified, including the article requiring candidates to obtain permission from the mayor, to hold election meetings, which was rejected.
Exploratory visit to the Gorges de Foulon
