Telecommunication, Haiti in figures

According to Jean-Marie Guillaume, Director General of the National Council of Telecommunications (CONATEL) there would be 6 million cell phones activated in Haiti, 318 radio stations and 94 television in operations across Haiti. In addition only 13% of Haitians are connected to the Internet.
