iciHaiti - Music : Successful European tour for «Follow Jah»
This Sunday, June 5, the 9 musicians of the walking band "Follow Jah" will be back in Port-au-Prince, after more than a month of a European tour began on April 29 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17278-haiti-culture-european-tour-of-follow-jah.html

The walking band "Follow Jah" has thus performed in music festivals in the world such as "Jazz sous les Pommiers" in Coutances (France) and "Music Meeting" of Nimègue (Netherlands), but it has also crept into the programming of festivals of street arts : Festival "Arts'Viateurs" of Orly and "Fête des fleurs" of Brussels. It animated the evening of the Haitian Community of Northern France in Lille and "Tropical Discoteq" of Paris alongside DJs Emile Omar and Nomad. It occupied the scene of the Forging de Cognin and Archiducs of Brussels front of an audience as mixed than enthusiastic. It also presented the music of rara and of walking band to several hundred children of Belgian and French schools, that have taken over with it its melodies and choreography adapted to the young French public.

In addition, the walking band "Follow Jah" mixed with other bands, group of Carnaval Carnaclik of Dunkirk, Kocani Orkestar from Macedonia and especially the "Nouvelle Flibuste", with whom it led the parade of the "Joyeuse Entrée" of the "Zinneke Parade" in Brussels.
