No longer Entry Visa in Aruba if...
The Consulate General of Haiti in Aruba [little Antilles off Venezuela] informs the Haitian community, that holders of U.S., Canadian and Schengen visa will no longer be required to obtain an entry visa for Aruba.

Rara and the Ministry of Defence in Léogâne

Sunday, as part of its mission of Civil Defence, the Ministry of Defence will be alongside léoganais to welcome the thousands of visitors who come from the four corners of the country to celebrate the Rara. Under the direction of Colonel Pierre Oriviad Adolph Alzuphar a medical aid station of the Ministry, equipped with all the first aid equipment and medical staff trained in emergency response, will be installed on the official parade path for the well-being of visitors and participants.

Results of the PNH
Gary Desrosiers, the Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) presented the results of the various units of the PNH. From 15 March to 15 April 2014, 59 individuals were arrested for various offenses, 6 guns and four vehicles were seized. Moreover, during this period, the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) seized 623 kg marijuana and 1.50 kg of cocaine.

Gérald Oriol Jr. visited Jacmel
Gérald Oriol, Jr., Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) went to Jacmel, visit the National School Edèze Gousse and the Lycée Celie Lamour. Together with the the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), the BSEIPH, launched development work in order to make these two schools physically accessible to people with disabilities. During this visit, Gérald Oriol, Jr., has also signed a lease for a space that will serve as theDepartmental office of BSEIPH in the Southeast to allow the Government to better coordinate efforts for the integration of people with special needs in the region.
