23 Haitian young scholars to Morocco

Monday as part of bilateral cooperation Haiti-Morocco, 23 young Haitians, girls and boys, selected by competition, will left Haiti to pursue university studies in the fields of their choice, with the commitment to return to Haiti at the end of their studies.

The phone company Digicel announced this week a partnership with the Wikimedia Foundation to offer its customers in Haiti, a mobile phone unlimited access to the online encyclopedia Wikipedia, without data charges (internet). With this agreement, Digicel reached nearly 400 million mobile subscribers of 41 operators in 34 countries that have signed the partnership program "Wikipedia Zero". Digicel gradually extend this agreement to all its clients in the Caribbean, Central America and Asia Pacific.

Plural network of Women of Political Parties

The Plural network of Women of Political Parties, was officially launched this week. This new network that goes beyond ideologies and political parties, connects women from different political parties, with the objective of strengthening women's leadership within the party, for better participation and political representation of women.

Health: Towards an annual training plan

A 2-day workshop was held on strengthening the capacity of central and departmental responsible to develop a training plan for the Ministry of Public Health. This activity has benefited from the support of the "Health Finance and Governance" (HFG) of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). This training plan is designed to fill skills gaps on workstations to enable the health sector to respond effectively to people's health needs.

Talks in schools on the rights of persons with disabilities

The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) and its partners have mobilized twenty young, who received guidance on the rights of persons with special needs, through its training unit. These 20 young people were deployed in twenty schools in the capital to facilitate talks on the rights of persons with disabilities. The aim was to educate children from 5th to 9th fundamental year on the issue of disability. Through these talks, the BSEIPH was able to reach nearly 800 students. Emphasize the participation of one of the ambassadors of the cause of disability, the artist BelO, who joined the team at one of the talks.
