On Monday, the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR) received the Anglo Dutch company Unilever, which wants to increase its investment in Haiti.

With the support of its partners, the InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry has allowed Unilever to explore the investment potential in cocoa and nuts cashew, in the North, North East and the Centre.

This visit is added to the efforts of the Ministry to facilitate private investment, promoted by the Minister of Agriculture, Fresner Dorcin.
