The Haitian Football League (LHF) will kick off the opening series of the 2026-2027 Paryaj Lakay D1 season this Sunday, November 8, 2026. Twelve clubs, divided into two groups of six, will compete in this latest edition of the National Championship, which will feature 60 matches across 10 rounds of the regular season, leading up to the playoffs.

This new campaign raises a major question: who will manage to dethrone Violette AC ? The blue-and-white club is coming off a remarkable season, having won both series of the previous edition by defeating Baltimore SC in the finals. The 11 other teams will now look to challenge its dominance and position themselves in the race for the title. Their first objective will be to finish among the top four in their respective groups to secure a spot in the second round.

Following the 10 rounds of the regular season, the top four teams from each group—eight clubs in total—will qualify for the playoffs to continue their pursuit of the championship.

With Violette AC defending its status as a two-time champion, its rivals harboring their own title ambitions, and a schedule packed with intense matchups, this opening series promises to be one of the highlights of the 2026-2027 season.
