The Prime Minister, Evans Paul, congratulates the Haitian people, especially schoolchildren and students for the patriotic fervor expressed on the occasion of 212th anniversary of our national bicolor. The Government welcomes the enthusiasm of people, which, across the country and in the Diaspora, expressed his commitment to the flag, symbol of Haitian collective identity.

The Government took the opportunity to thank the Ministers and senior officials of the State, particularly the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) for supervisory work of the major patriotic activities organized on the occasion of Flag Day.

The Government asks the sectors concerned to apply the provisions adopted at the Government Council of 11 May 2015 re-establishing the organization of the ceremonies of the rise of the flag in schools, and diffusion of the national anthem every morning from 8:00 am precisely.
