The Central Unit of Management of Public-Private Partnerships, with the support of the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB) organised a restitution workshop of legal texts elaborated for the supervision and development of Public-Private Partnerships Contracts(PPP). At the workshop, experts from the firm "Ekwa Consulting" have produced the following documents :

• Explanatory of the reasons of the law (Context and Justification of the law) ;

• Proposed Draft law on PPP (PPP General regime) ;

• Proposed Draft law on the state agency responsible for PPPs (Creation of a technically decentralized service within the Ministry of Economy) ;

• Decree on the monitoring and auditing of PPPs contract (Supervision and Control) ;

• Recommendations to the National Commission on Public Procurement (Proposal for addition of two new procurement procedures for PPP contracts, namely the competitive dialogue and treatment of spontaneous offers).

The establishment of an appropriate legislative and regulatory framework will help implement PPPs in various sectors in order to provide infrastructure and quality public services to the population.
