iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : New threats from strikers of AEPG
The trainers of the Professional Workshop-School of Petit Goâve (AEPG) on strike since May 25, 2015 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14015-haiti-education-work-stoppage-to-the-professional-school-of-petit-goave.html , have reached a new stage in their protest. They threaten, in a petition written on 1 June 2015, to boycott the exams of the last semester and all the activities of the National Institute of Vocational Training in Haiti (INFP) at the Goâve region.

"We, the trainers of the rofessional Workshop-School of Petit Goâve, continue our work stoppage and asking the State through the Ministry of National Education the payment of our 8 months of salary arrears and our appointment letters because 98 million gourdes were paid by the Ministry of Education on behalf of the INFP, for the remuneration of contractors working in this system [...] In case our demands are not taken into consideration the exams of the last semester of the AEPG, the reopening of the next academic year 2015-2016 and the exams of the INFP in the Goâve region, will not be realized. We will categorically oppose to it," we can reads on the petition signed by a dozen professors.
