iciHaiti - FLASH : Two school principals jailed

The communication Office of the Ministry of Education informs us that two private school principals, beneficiaries of subsidies of Universal Schooling Program Free and Compulsory (PSUGO), Jean-Robert Jean and Ecranel Pierre, were sentenced to two years in prison to the courthouse of Port-au-Prince, for embezzlement and to reimburse State of the sums stolen from the State.
Remember also that following an investigation of the Unit for the Fight against Corruption (ULCC) recently conducted, the Ministry just take sanctions against 85 schools involved in a large-scale embezzlement https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14460-haiti-flash-psugo-fraud-first-sanctions.html and transmitted the files to the judicial authorities for action as specified in the law.
