Gérald Oriol Jr., the Secretary of State for the Integration of Disabled Persons, was recently in Hinche in the Central Department, to grant financial support to 18 disabled people living in difficult socio-economic conditions. He took advantage of his visit to meet with the coordinator and the entire staff of the Departmental Office Centre of the BSEIPH (Office of the Secretary of State for Integration of Persons with Disabilities) and with a head of an association of disabled of Maïssade.

Moreover, the past week, the BSEIPH through its Stock of adapted equipment, distributed 16 wheelchairs to disabled people of the South Department. The BSEIPH, also organized training on maintenance and assembly of wheelchairs, of PET carts and other suitable materials. Remember that these materials are available at BSEIPH through a partnership with various partners including Food for the Poor, Pet International, Global Links and WalkAbout Foundation.
