iciHaiti - Elections : A deputy victim of violence by PNH ?
Wednesday, at the first day, the hearings of Electoral Tribunal to the Office of Departmental Electoral Disputes (BCED) West 1, were interrupted by demonstrators demanding the cancellation of the first round of legislative elections.

By order of a magistrates sitting at BCED, officials of the National Police of Haiti proceeded to the eviction of protesters candidates what does not happen without violence. During this evacuation muscled Jacques Vilsaint, candidate for deputy (Petion-ville) under the banner LAPEH would have been victim of police violence, witnesses said. Lying on the ground, Jacques Vilsaint, the candidate remained on the ground for over an hour waiting for the observation of a Justice of Peace and the arrival of an ambulance that transported him to the hospital.

The PNH has opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of this incident and determine if the candidate Vilsaint has been victim of police violence.
