The Ministry of Culture honors the memory of Max Gesner Beauvoir, the National Ati, who passed away last Saturday https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15125-haiti-flash-max-beauvoir-passed-away-a-great-loss-for-the-country-dixit-martelly.html recalling "[...] he was member of the First Academy Creole of Haiti. He knew how to understand the multiple dimensions of Haitian man and woman and has always argued to keep alive our memory, our history, so that we do not forget the departure continent, Africa, the religion of departure, the Voodoo.
By his various positions taken, since 2008, year in which he became National Ati, Max G. Beauvoir, has often calmed each other and enabled harmony in society.
The Ministry of Culture and its autonomous institutions also do not forget the researcher that was the Ati National and his contribution to the written heritage. He has published 9 books, including 'Le Grand Recueil Sacré ou Répertoire des Chansons Vodou Haïtien' in 2008.
The Ministry of Culture presents its condolences to the family of the Ati National Mr. G. Max Beauvoir, to all vodouisants, members of the Creole Academy and all those who knew and admired him."
