Commissioner Frantz Lerebours, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) announced that Godson Orélus, the Director of the PNH had made several mutations to improve the performance of police forces, stressing that these mutations had no connection with the events of August 9, in the first round of legislative elections.

List of changes :
The Divisional Commissioner Frantz Georges, head of the Southern Department, was transferred in the North;

The Divisional Commissioner Frantz Elbe, Departmental Director of the South East was transferred in Nippes;

Commissioner Serge Barreau, former head of the police station of Petit-Goâve was transferred to the Department of South-East where he will replace Frantz Elbe;

The Commissioner Jean Michelet Choute (Nippes) was mutated in the South.
