iciHaiti - Elections : Reminder of the Minister of Health
Dr. Florence D. Guillaume, Minister of Public Health, reiterates to the attention of all Department Directors that "the first mission of the institution is to ensure the medical care of the population at any time. She recalled that the Ministry is required to maintain strict neutrality and guarantee everyone, without distinction, access to quality care in health institutions in the upcoming elections.
In this sense, all vehicles including ambulances from the Ministry will be mobilized to transport emergency, of care providers and may not be used in any way for any other purpose.
Also, in this election period, the Ministry relies on the understanding of all Departmental Directors and Directors of Health Institutions to respect and enforce the Ministry's commitments to better serve the Haitian population."
