iciHaiti - Football U-20 : The Grenadières sacred champions of the Caribbean
The Haitian selection, after qualifying for the finals of the Caribbean Cup of Nations U-20 women, by defeating Trinidad & Tobago [2-0], the youth grenadières clashed in the finals Friday, October 23 on the lawn of the National Sylvio Cator stadium Jamaica, that they defeated [2-0] winning the well deserved title of champion of the Caribbean Cup.

It was Louis Bathsheba, who opened scoring for Haiti in the first period on a penalty converted in the 23rd minute of the game while Kensya Destinvil, closed the match with a stunning left-footed shot that left no chance to the Jamaican goal keeper.

In addition to the trophy and the title of the Caribbean Cup, our youth Grenadières directed by American of Polish origin, Shek Borkowski, have won almost all other distinctions: Jonie Gabriel (3 goals conceded) won the Gold Glove for the best goalkeeper of the competition: Nérilia Mondésir with 4 goals, shared the Golden Boot title with Jamaican Kadjina Shaw and Kensya Destinvil received the Golden Ball for best player of this tournament which is qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2016.

Haiti, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago have made an appointment for the next phase of qualifying for the World Cup FIFA 2016, which will be played in Honduras from 3 to 13 December, 2015.

Wednesday, the Haitian football selection, had won the qualifying match for the finals of the Caribbean Cup U-20 women by beating [2-0] the formation of Trinidad & Tobago. In the first period, Sabine Rose Chandler, that comes from the United States showed the way of victory to his comrades by opening the scoring [1-0] with a superb goal in the 34th minute.

In the second period, Nérilia Mondésir, the star of Haitian youth, reassured everyone by stunning free-kick in the 52nd minute, which was deflected by a Trinidadian player before lodge in the keeper nets for the final score [2-0].
