Recall that for several weeks, the Dominican authorities have increased the number of patrols and strengthened different points on the border with Haiti to prevent Haitian nationals to travel to the Dominican Republic without documents or with false documents, as they try as every year, to return to neighboring Republic, after the end of year holidays with their families in Haiti.
