Students, grouped within the Collective of the State University of Haiti (UEH), demanding the resignation of the members of the University Council as a solution to put an end to the indefinite strike of administrative staff union, which paralyzes for nearly 4 months, especially the Faculties: Humanities (FASCH) Ethnology, the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and the Institute of African Studies and Research (IERAH).

These students are threatening to use less peaceful means if their demands are not met in the coming days.

Jeanty Manis, Communications Officer within the Collective students the UEH announced that Friday, March 4, there will be a meeting between students, faculty and staff in order to explore the forms that will take the next phases the claim movement of administrative staff, claiming among other things, the implementation of the wage scale and better working conditions.
