Thursday, April 7, the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) receives visitors from noon, due to the commemoration of the 213th anniversary of the death of General Toussaint Louverture, the precursor of the Independence of Haiti (7 April 1803 - April 7, 2016).

Note that this April 7 brings, also, the 33rd anniversary of the inauguration of the Museum (7 April 1983- April 7, 2016) and the entry of Toussaint to the Haitian National Pantheon.

Also Tuesday morning, the Haitian actor Jimmy Jean-Louis featured in the role of Toussaint Louverture in the film of the same name visited the Museum accompanied by Michèle Frisch, Director General of the Museum. The same day at the National Palace President a.i. Jocelerme Privert, received the Haitian actor.
