iciHaiti - Politic : Towards a strengthening of executives of the Ministry of Agriculture

Arnoux Severin, Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR) accompanied by members of his team, welcomed at the Ministry, a delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP-Haiti) led by the Deputy Director Martine Therer for a working session on the capacity building project of executives of MARNDR.
This project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to the tune of 500,000 US dollars over a period of 2 years aims to improve: the capacity for planning, programming, budgeting and monitoring-evaluation efforts of the Ministry; it comes in complementary of process of implementation of the reform of the Ministry to enable the institution to provide the services that farmers need including attracting direct private investments and maintain leadership in directing and supporting investment programs financed by donors.
