In a note, Camille Edouard Junior, Minister of Justice and Public Security, strongly condemns the recent armed attacks perpetrated against the premises including of the Marriott Hotel, of cars dealers Behrmann Motors, Automeca and mobile phone companies: Digicel and Natcom, on the night from June 23 to 24 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17835-haiti-flash-several-companies-including-the-marriott-riddled-with-bullets.html
"This is unacceptable acts which constitute, at least, a bad signal to potential foreign investors.
The Ministry of Justice and Public Security, after meeting with the National Police of Haiti, quickly passed the necessary instructions to the Prosecutor of Port-au-Prince, for legal suites, as well as representatives of the forces of order to strengthen the safety device around these companies.
It reiterates to everyone its firm determination to work to strengthen stability and public peace."
