This week Drs Eddy Bien-Aimé and Yvon Élysée had a working session at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal with the Consul a.i. Justin Viard who was accompanied for the occasion by members of the Cultural and Communication Section as well as the Section for Economic and Tourist Affairs of the Mission.

The session took place around the implementation and development of an ambitious project on assistance to bring in the field of education to children in domestic (Restavek). In this regard, these physicians in Montreal founded an international organization called "Fierté d'Être" (Pride of Being).

A pilot project will be developed in partnership with other institutions in Haiti and will be established in the Carrefour region where one has already identified a great number of Restaveks children who will benefit from access to education.
