As part of the country festivals 2016, Guy Didier Hyppolite, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, toured provincial towns that organize such festivities.

The Minister accompanied by some members of his cabinet and a promotion and communication team, went to Saut d'Eau, Marchand Dessalines (Friday, August 12) for the Sainte Claire in Marchand Dessalines, in Cap Haitien and Les Cayes for Notre Dame (Monday 15 August).

The Minister visited the sites of Marchand Dessalines and of Cap to meet with the newly installed Mayors and make administrative follow regarding the tourist offer in each city, as well as new routes to be proposed to local and international visitors.

Note that this tour will spread over the duration of the summer country festivals, the next step is the Saint Louis Roi de France in Jérémie (the City of Poets) on 25 August.
