In the night from Tuesday 25 to Wednesday, October 26, 2016, police officers of Petit-Goâve supported by specialized units such as the Corps of Intervention and Maintenance of Order (CIMO), the Departmental Unit for Maintenance of Order (UDMO) and the Brigade of Operation and of Departmental Intervention (BOID) conducted a forceful operation against bandits of gang « Haute Tension » in the mountains of Petit-Goâve. The famous gang leader "Magué" actively sought died during the operation led by the Commissioner of Police Serge Barreau. Much of the population that had received the news with joy went to the courtyard of the police station to see the body of the bandit riddled with bullets...
