iciHaïti - AmCham Trinidad : Donation of 5 tons of aid for Haiti

At the initiative of the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and the American Chamber of Commerce AmCham Haiti, the AmCham Trinidad just made a donation of nearly 5 tons of food, water and various hygienic products among others.

This aid will be distributed in the departments of the South and the Grand'Anse. Aquapure tablets and hygiene kits will also be distributed in these communities to fight against cholera and other waterborne diseases.

Daniel Jadotte, Vice President of AmCham Trinidad, indicated that Trinidad had mobilized 57 other chambers in the area stating "We are mobilizing all our networks at the international level. 30% of the funds raised will be used in emergency responses and 70% will be allocated to reconstruction."
