The 2017 Carnival of Pétion-ville will take place on 19 February around the theme "Proteje anviwonman pou Petion Ville pi bèl".

Gilbert Bailly, the president of the Carnival Committee 2017 of Pétion-ville, announced that this year the Carnival will present many new features and that safety measures will be taken for the smooth running of the festivities and the protection of the revelers.

He also indicated that the provisional budget of the Carnival of Pétion-ville was provisionally estimated at nearly 3 million Gourdes.
