Haiti - Social : Launch of the project «Clubs of Youth in Action for Peace»

Yesterday Friday at Complexe Lafayette Delmas 71, took place the launch ceremony of the project "Clubs of Youth in Action for Peace".
Funded jointly by the Minustah Community Violence Reduction Section and the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) to the tune of US $ 184,837, this 8-month project aims to prevent and reduce violence in the communities of Cité Soleil and Martissant, in order to improve their resilience as a coherent entity.
Through this project, 120 young people from Cité Soleil and Martissant will promote the culture of peace in their schools and their communities through community civic actions and artistic activities.
