The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti, informs the academic community and the general public of the formation of a Commission of Inquiry to shed light on the unfortunate incident that occurred on Monday, June 12, 2017, at he Faculty of Ethnology, where a student was overthrown by a vehicle allegedly driven by Dean Yves Blot https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21216-haiti-flash-students-set-fire-to-faculty-of-ethnology.html

Professors, members of the Commission of Inquiry: Laënec Hurbon; Roland Louis-Charles; Odonel Pierre-Louis and Djacamann Cuarles.

The Rectorate is seeking the collaboration of all parties in order to enable the Commission to do its work and to present its report as soon as possible.

It reiterates its calls for calm and serenity in order to bring back a favorable climate for the regular functioning of the Faculty of Ethnology.
