The charm of the Nippes, the youngest department of Haiti is no longer to be demonstrated. This is the case of a commune such as Anse-a-Veau, a true tourist destination where one does not lack of tourist attractions to visit like among others :

- The house of the former President of Haiti Philippe Sudre Dartiguenave (27th President of the Republic of Haiti from 1915 to 1922);

- The Mausoleum of the former General of the Army of Independence, Étienne Alexandre Gérin;

The Ministry of Tourism has dispatched a team with the dual objective of assessing the situation and promote the campaign "Zafe touris se zafe tout moun". To this end, a meeting was held on July 30 between the DTM executives and the city councilors, including Mayor Jean Foucher. The operators of the municipality and the owner of the only hotel in the area and his team were also visited by the Ministry's delegation.
