Stéphanie Auguste, Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), of a strategy to create and strengthen relations between the ministry and the Haitians of the diaspora, went to Marigot as part of the Celebration of the patron saint of the commune : Saint Dominique https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-21747-icihaiti-diaspora-minister-auguste-inaugurates-the-entrance-arch-of-the-commune-of-marigot.html The Minister wants to make the best use of the period of rural festivals, a great attraction for many Haitians living outside the national territory, to get closer to them and to inform them about the Mission of her Ministry.

Minister Auguste took part alongside the Prime Minister, os several of her colleagues, parliamentarians and local authorities in the Eucharistic celebration in the Church of St. Dominic.

At the end of the celebration, the Minister welcomed the presence of many compatriots of the diaspora come to recharge in the "alma mater". She pointed out to them that a Ministry team was on the scene to listen to them and make them aware of the need to organize for their involvement in the various facets of national life.
