Haiti - Politics : Towards the strengthening of Cornillon Health Centers

Friday, after the rehabilitation and strengthening of the Health Centers of Petit-Goâve, Léogâne and Gressier, a delegation from the Ministry led by Dr. Martial Bénêche, accompanied by Deputy Cornillon Raymonde Rival and Mayor Bertho Balaguel, conducted a tour in Cornillon Grand Bois, with a view to putting in place an adequate structure to strengthen the Cornillon Health Center, reopen the Saint-Pierre Health Center and support the Saint-Vincent de Paul Health Center, in order to allow the citizens living in the most remote corners of the western department, to have access to quality health care.

The delegation took the opportunity to distribute medicines and equipment to these Centers for the good performance of their mission. This week, missing materials and equipment such as consultation tables, delivery tables, blood pressure monitors and others will be sent to Cornillon.

Meanwhile, measures have been taken to convince the staff of the Cornillon Health Center to come to work regularly and avoid the population seeking care in the neighboring Republic...
