In addition, these permits were granted to requests made before July. In September, the time required to process an online application was 84 days and 105 days for a paper application. Since October, Ottawa says it has accelerated the processing of requests and promised to offer a service in 30 days...
n the meantime, migrants have to provide for themselves with Quebec social assistance of just over $600, which is very little to survive in Canada.
