Saturday 9 in afternoon, in Perth, Australia, the Haiti Polo Team faced in the semi final of the "Polo World Series" the "Perth National Team Polo" in a match breathtaking. Tied [6-6] within 12 seconds of the end, Australia took control of the ball in the last throw and the shooting from midfield crossed the Haitian goal, ending the match with a score of [7-6] for Australia.

Representing Haiti in the World Series Polo is a great honor, and qualifying for the semi-finals today is extremely exciting," said Claude-Alix Bertrand, Captain of the Haitian team adding "Wherever we go, people want to know the Haiti team and the Haitian athletes."

However, after a big win against Team Australia in Brisbane in the second round two weeks ago, the Haiti Polo Team has enough points to compete in Adelaide (Capital of South Australia), 5th and last city of the Polo World Series Friday, December 15, 2017.

With a victory in Adelaide of at least 4 goals, Haiti would be a serious contender for the title of the championship.

Recall that the Haiti Polo Team founded in 2013 by Claude-Alix Bertrand has revealed itself to the world since 2014 thanks to its important victories in China, Argentina and the United States (San Francisco).
