Friday, May 25, our U-20 Grenadières qualified for the U-20 Women's World Cup (FIFA) France 2018, were received at the Delmas Municipal Palace where the Mayor of Delmas Wilson Jeudy, Mrs. Rose Trinita Louis the Deputy Mayor of Delmas, Dominique Sain-Roc Mayor of Petion-Ville, Mrs. Nice Simon Mayor of Tabarre, among others, paid a well deserved tribute to our Grenadières before handing over to the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) a check of US $23,000 which will be divided equally between each Grenadier to cover their personal expenses during their stay in France.

These funds were collected at the initiative of compatriots from a community of the Haitian diaspora in Brooklyn via the platform of Crowdfunding gofundme and thanks to the medical association based in the United States "Aesclepius Medical Society Inc" and the contribution the town halls of Carrefour, Pétion-ville, Delmas, Tabarre and Port-au-Prince each paying 1,000 dollars.

In addition, Yves Jean-Bart, President of the FHF confirmed that President Jovenel Moise had issued instructions for the disbursement of the 350,000 US dollars needed to prepare our Grenadières for the 2018 France World Cup.
