iciHaiti - Agriculture : Inauguration of a laboratory for the benefit of the SNS 14/06/2018 12:08:32
This laboratory will enable the national seed service (SNS) to control the quality of the seeds produced in the country, as well as to help it fulfill its role of certifying seeds sold on the market. The ceremony took place among others, in the presence of the Director General of MARNDR, representatives of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), representatives of the IDB and the coordinator of the PTTA. Minister Joubert C. Angrand, in his speech, took the opportunity to thank the partners who helped complete this great work for the benefit of the agricultural sector. He also invites SNS officials to get to work without further delay in order to make the service available 24 hours a day with the aim of providing important and effective results towards the establishment of a sustainable seed industry in the country.
