Garnel Michel, the Coordinator of STOP-accident points out that 82.4% of these accidents are caused by motorcycle drivers who do not respect the security measures and who violate the rules of the road traffic.

In addition, he encourages the Car Insurance Agency Against Tiers (OAVCT) to work with hospitals in Haiti to provide reliable statistical data on road accidents in Haiti.
