iciHaiti - NOTICE : Air Canada announces the cancellation of several flights for Haiti

Air Canada announces the cancellation of its flight of Wednesday, February 20, 2019 for Port-au-Prince, as well as its subsequent flights. Air Canada specifies to Canadians who want to fly Monday, that there are always seats available and to contact Air Canada directly as soon as possible. The company will honor all valid tickets.

Please note that other airlines still have flights available after February 18th.

For its part, the Embassy of Canada in Port-au-Prince states "We are actively working with airlines and tour operators to help coordinate departure options for the Canadians concerned."

As a reminder, Canadians in Haiti who require emergency consular assistance can contact the Monitoring Center at +1 613 996 8885 (collect where available). They can also send an email to sos@international.gc.ca

The Canadian Embassy in Port-au-Prince is still operational and provides consular services, including those online. Priority is given to urgent requests for assistance to Canadians wishing to leave the country : contact us at sos@international.gc.ca or collect at 1-613-996-8885.
