iciHaiti - Social: Drinking water arrives at the Lower and Upper Central Plateau
The Regional Office for Drinking Water and Sanitation (OREPA) announces that the localities of Las Cacahos, Biassous, Boc and Cas, located in rural areas, respectively in the upper and lower Central Plateau, will have in the next days, permanently access to drinking water, thanks to the Drinking Water Supply System (SAEP) rehabilitated or built, financed by the World Bank.

The infrastructures of Las Cacahos and Biassous include sanitary blocks and some of these SAEPs are powered by solar energy

It should be noted that in order to better serve the population and make the networks sustainable, the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA), for each rehabilitated or built SAEP, has had a building built to house the committee of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation (CAEPA)
