Police Commissioner Michel-Ange Louis-Jeune, spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Wednesday made a review of the operation "Chacal" launched in late December 2018 until 20 March 2019, for the West, North and South.

In summary : 62 arrested, seizeure of 15 firearms and ammunition, 6 chargers, 2 million pesos, 3.6 million gourdes, 0.5 kg of cocaine and 10 vehicles confiscated.

Those arrested have been charged with, among other things, murder, money laundering, drug trafficking and possession, illegal possession of firearms, rape, kidnapping for ransom, criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, etc...0

Moreover, in the last 3 months, Commissioner Louis-Jeune has revealed that 10 minors aged 4 to 15 years were raped.
