On Tuesday night Haitian National Police (PNH) officers from the Delmas 62 sub police station arrested to Delmas 101, a suspicious individual who was traveling in a motorcycle.

At the time of his arrest, the individual had in his possession 3 firearms, several chargers, 200 ammunition and a large sum of money that were seized.

The individual identified as Samuel Jeanty was accompanied by an alleged accomplice who managed to escape and is actively sought after. Jeanty is currently detained at the Delmas 62 sub-police station, pending his transfer to the judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
