As part of the International Day of Francophonie, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti and Francophone Operators and Embassies presented the honorary title of Francophone Personality of the Year to Professor Evens Emmanuel, President of the Regional Commission of Experts of the University Agency of La Francophonie (AUF) in the Caribbean in order to enhance its participation in the training of several generations of executives and researchers in Haiti.

Learn more about Dr. Evens Emmanuel :
Emmanuel holds a Master of Science in Sanitary Engineering from the Universidad de San Carlos in Guatemala and a PhD in Urban and Industrial Environment Sciences from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon. Head of the Doctoral School "Society and Environment" of Quisqueya University and the Doctoral College of Haiti. Professor Evens Emmanuel is President of the Regional Commission of Experts of the Caribbean Office of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) and was a member of the Scientific Council of AUF from November 2012 to December 2018. He currently holds the position Vice-Rector, Research and Innovation, Quisqueya University.
