iciHaiti - Jacmel : Car against Rara bands, 5 dead and 10 wounded

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, April 7, in "Brenan" (East of Jacmel, South-East Dept) two bands of Rara parading on public roads were struck by a vehicle for reasons not elucidated. This tragic accident made 15 victims (5 dead and 10 wounded).
One person died on the spot, another died while being transported to the hospital and 3 others died at the Saint Michel Hospital emergency room where all the wounded were transported.
According to the witnesses, the driver of the vehicle escaped after the accident.
