Following a decision by the Presidents to reduce Senators' privileges, Speaker Carl Murat Cantave, the President of the Upper House, officially informs his colleagues that this year they will not receive the Pascale grant of one million gourdes intended for funding of activities in their constituency.

Note from the President of the Senate :

"It is brought to the attention of all that, following the austerity measures taken by the Government and the circular sent to all public institutions, the Office of the Senate of the Republic is contrite to follow suit.

Therefore, it decided to cancel the subsidy section ordinarily granted to the Senators of the Republic on the occasion of the Easter feast.

As a result, no follow-up will be given to grant applications.
