iciHaiti - Léogâne : Success of the Rara Festival 23/04/2019 09:49:09
The show began in the morning with the 3rd edition of "yogann ap pedal" where nearly 300 cyclists traveled the streets of Léogâne, just to promote cycling among festival-goers. Activities continued in the afternoon with the parade of Queen Anacaona's troupe, which offered remarkable dance performances along the way, followed by 26 Rara bands from the area's various communes. Note the presence of "Rara Lakay" a troupe of Miami Rara come to showcase the traditional Haitian culture. The Tourist Police (PoliTour) ensured the safety of the Festival, where no major incident was reported. PI/ iciHaiti
